Tri Camp 2009- Arizona
NOW OPEN FOR REGISTRATION

Presented by EH and Grasky Coaching

az

This will be the third year in a row for this camp. The training venue is hard to beat and I still have very fond memories of last years camp, and the attendees will confirm that this was one of the best endurance experiences they’ve ever had. In fact, I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to train in some amazing locations during our harsh CT winter, and Tucson is, in my opinion, the best venue you can ask for when considering a winter endurance camp. This years camp will be even cooler since we finish it up on the weekend of Trifest 2009 at Trisports. Trifest is a festival where a ton of tri businesses bring their new ideas and merchandise to display in Tucson.

Last year, I had a small group, and found it more enjoyable so this coming year, I’m reducing the maximum number of campers to just 12. As of now, five of these 12 spots are already taken. If you’d like one of the seven remaining spots, contact me asap.

What: a week long, state of the art, winter training camp in Tuscon. Athletes will do daily swim, bike, and run sessions, including:

  • swim sessions in a beautiful outdoor pool right across the street from the hotel.
  • scenic, long rides in the surrounding Tuscon area, including long steady climbing in the mountains, most notably, the famous Mt. Lemmon, and Kitts Peak. This coming year, we will do a mountain bike ride one day as well!!!
  • Spectacular trail runs
  • Assisted stretching sessions
  • Technique and form work
  • Bike fit
  • Heart rate testing (outdoors) and zone set-up
  • Discussions on nutrition, mental training, peaking and tapering, …
  • Lots of laughs

The camp will be headed by coach Eric Hodska (www.Hodska.com) and coach Brian Grasky (www.graskyendurance.com)

When: February 28, 2009 through March 6, 2009

az
